Multifunction knife

Leatherman Free K2x is a compact tool, equipped with 7 additional functions. The small size when folded and the weight of 139 g make the knife relatively convenient to carry in a pocket, at the belt or in a bag. The knife has a compact and durable construction made of 420 HC stainless steel with a black finish. The main tool of the Free K2X is a partially serrated 420 HC stainless steel blade, which retains its sharpness for a relatively short time, but sharpens quickly and easily even with a pocket whetstone. The serrations make it easy to cut hard and fibrous materials such as plastic, bone, rope, belts and webbing.

The great advantage of 420 HC steel is its high corrosion resistance, so the knife requires no special maintenance. The sheefoot profile blade has a straight cutting edge, a strong hilt and a high concave grind with good cutting properties. The blade can be easily unfolded with one hand using a cutout in the head.

Locking tools

The blade and other tools are locked after unfolding using the internal locking system mechanism. The knife uses an additional magnetic locking mechanism to prevent accidental unfolding of the tools under the influence of shock or a fall. Use of the K2 is convenient due to the simple and functional unfolding system. Each tool has a small clip that, when leveraged with the thumb, can be conveniently unfolded with one hand.

The knife has a solid stainless steel handle. The moled surface of the facings gives the knife a very good grip and a secure feel in the hand. A hole in the back of the handle allows you to attach a rope or decorative paracord braid. The use of a steel clip makes it easy to carry the knife comfortably in a pocket, on a belt or in a backpack.
