28 cm stainless steel frying pan - quality, durability and even heating in one
Perfectly even heat distribution
This 28 cm stainless steel frying pan is built using Tri-ply technology - a three-layer construction in which the inner layer is made of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel and the outer layer of 18/0 stainless steel. Between them is an aluminium layer that runs not only along the base but through the entire wall of the pan right up to the edge. As a result, heat is distributed extremely evenly, so the ingredients you fry brown uniformly across the whole pan - even if you were cooking on a rocking boat, the meat would cook perfectly.
The outer stainless steel layer gives it exceptional strength and lets the pan work perfectly on induction hobs.
Retains heat perfectly, ideal for a variety of dishes
Thanks to its very thick (~2.5 mm) base, this pan does not lose its shape even on induction hobs and retains heat perfectly. You can heat it to very high temperatures, so it is suitable for:
- frying vegetables, meat, fish, potatoes or cutlets,
- pancakes, tortillas, paella or sandwiches,
- using the pan in the oven (oven heat-resistant).
Most importantly - increase the heat gradually, and the pan will serve you for decades without losing its shape.
Long-lasting, free of harmful substances, friendly to health and nature
This pan is completely free of synthetic non-stick coatings (no PFAS, PFOA or PTFE). This means that:
- you do not inhale any toxic substances while cooking,
- food stays natural and keeps its taste and texture,
- you can cook at higher temperatures, creating a crispy crust that cannot be achieved on coated pans.
In addition, this pan is extremely durable and scratch-resistant - used properly, it will last a lifetime. It has an industrial, modern design that fits perfectly in both professional and home kitchens. After use you can wash it in the dishwasher, while hand washing helps keep its original shine even longer.
Key advantages that set it apart from other pans
- Tri-ply construction ensures even heating with no hot spots.
- Thick base (2.5 mm) retains heat and prevents the pan from warping.
- No synthetic coatings - safe for health, sustainable for nature.
- Versatility - suitable for all types of hobs (including induction) and ovens.
- Durability - does not wear out or peel, will serve for decades.
- Easy care - dishwasher safe and simple to clean.
- Professional look - looks great in the kitchen and matches modern appliances.
Technical features
- Diameter: 28 cm, base diameter ~22 cm - spacious enough to fry steaks, meat, vegetables or a single portion of pasta.
- Construction: tri-ply - three layers of metal: the inner layers are high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, the outer one is 18/0; an aluminium layer is set between the steel layers, covering the entire base and the walls up to the edge.
- Thick base (~2.5 mm) - reduces the risk of warping and retains heat well.
- Suitable for all hobs: gas, ceramic, induction, halogen; also for ovens.
- No synthetic non-stick coatings (PTFE), no PFOA / PFAS - meaning a natural surface that does not react with food and requires no chemical coatings.
- Dishwasher safe - although hand washing helps maintain the shine.
Specifications:
- Diameter: 28 cm
- Weight: 1.4 kg
- Base thickness: 2.5 mm
- Wall height (measured from the outside): 5.5 cm
- Materials: the pan is made using 3 layers of metal; the 2 outer layers are high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, while the core (which never contacts food) is aluminium so the pan heats quickly and evenly.
- Dishwasher safe
- Oven safe up to 250 °C
Use and care
- Before first use, wash it well with hot water and a mild detergent; the pan may sometimes change colour slightly (turn grey) - this is normal for stainless steel, especially after stronger heating.
- Avoid sudden temperature changes (thermal shock) - do not heat the pan to a high temperature and then immediately cool it or splash it with cold water. This can warp the base.
- When frying, especially at the start, it is recommended to add a little more fat (oil, butter), since steel does not have a direct non-stick coating, so the technique differs slightly.
- To remove discolouration or stains, citric acid or special steel cleaners suitable for stainless steel can help.
Important - when using on induction hobs, heat the pan slowly. Also do not pour cold water in and use products at room temperature to protect the pan from possible warping.
Important: Avoid sudden temperature changes (thermal shock), as this can warp the base. Do not place a cold pan directly on maximum heat, and do not heat it to a high temperature and then put it under cold water - let the pan cool naturally.
