The Leupold Mark 6HD Gen.2 1-6x24 30mm CDS-SZL2 Side Focus Illum. FireDot Duplex is a 6x magnification hunting riflescope featuring a professional-grade optical system that brightens the image in all conditions, an illuminated aiming point, and SpeedSet turrets that allow a quick return to a pre-set zero.
The scope has a 30 mm diameter aluminum (6061-T6) tube, which, unlike the 1-inch version, provides a much greater reticle adjustment range - up to 180 MOA vertically and horizontally. The eyepiece has a ribbed Fast Focus ring for quick and convenient magnification changes. The tube is filled with a proprietary gas blend (argon and krypton), which eliminates the effects of thermal shock, reduces gas diffusion, and completely eliminates internal lens fogging. The waterproofing technology used guarantees 100 percent resistance to weather conditions. The scope was rigorously tested on the Punisher recoil-simulation machine, undergoing 5000 recoil endurance tests. The machine generates impacts with energy 3x greater than the recoil of a .308 rifle. In addition, the aluminum ocular and objective lens caps effectively protect the lenses from moisture, dust, and scratches.
