The Newton Fitness T9 from the Commercial Black Series Treadmills is a heavy duty 217 kg commercial treadmill equipped with a 3 hp AC motor and a running surface of 155x58 cm. Due to its heavy design and strong motor, this treadmill is sufficient in a personal trainer studio, physiotherapy practice, hotel or other space where the treadmill is used intensively. In addition to the maximum speed of 20 km per hour, the treadmill has a maximum incline of no less than 21%; this is a very steep angle which you won't find on the average treadmill.

3 HP AC Motor


The treadmill is equipped with a low-noise and very powerful 3 hp AC motor. This is a type of motor preferred in commercial treadmills because a AC motor is more powerful, less sensitive to wear and more durable compared to a DC motor. A DC motor is often part of it treadmills made for home use. Thanks to the strong 3 hp AC motor, the treadmill can be used intensively and is long lasting.

Heavy construction

Damping system


Each step taken comes down to the tread and the damping system. The cushioning system of the treadmill ensures every step is well cushioned, making walking feel comfortable. This reduces the chance of injuries compared to it walking on a hard subfloor. The steps are well absorbed and thanks to the heavy construction there is little movement in the treadmill itself.

Incline 21%


While walking, the speed can be set to a max of 20 km per hour, and the slope (incline) to no less than 21%! This is a very steep incline and steeper than the maximum incline on most treadmills. This very steep angle of inclination offers a tough challenge, also for fanatical runners.

LED Display


All training data is clearly displayed on the illuminated LED screens of the computer panel. The computer has a number pre-programmed programs and also Bluetooth and the possibility to work with the apps Kinomap and Zwift. Both apps offer many possibilities and variation in training. The front of the computer panel contains a ledge on which a smartphone/tablet can be placed.

Heart rate measurement


You can measure your heart rate during exercise by holding the built-in sensors in the handles. The computer also contains one built-in receiver, so you can also measure your heart rate wirelessly using a chest strap (optionally available). Wearing the chest strap gives a better measurement and is recommended if you use the heart rate controlled program. If you want to measure your heart rate every now and then while walking, the built-in sensors are a great solution.
