The frame is sturdy with a geometry similar to a mountain bike, but it shapes a more upright riding position than a mountain bike – less strain on the hands and better visibility. Designed for longer journeys, it is often adapted for mounting various accessories such as mudguards and racks. Built on a 700C 6061 aluminium frame in black, it offers a comfortable saddle and ergonomic grips for relaxed everyday and touring rides.
The material is aluminium, the most widely used. It is lighter than steel and stronger than carbon fibre, used in the manufacture of various types of bicycles. It offers the best price-to-weight ratio.
Plastic mudguards are often fitted to keep the overall weight of the bike to a minimum, and to allow an additional rack to be mounted for carrying items. Equipped with a 3x7-speed Shimano Tourney drivetrain, mechanical disc brakes, a 700C suspension fork and 28" double-layer aluminium rims with Mitas Flash 28 tyres, plus LED front and rear lights. Recommended rider height 169–180 cm, maximum load 140 kg, weight about 17 kg.
