Running surface 140 x 51 cm
The construction of the Newton Fitness TM55PTC treadmill is not too large, yet it features a running surface of 140 x 51 cm. This provides ample space while walking, jogging, or running. Thanks to the cushioning system under the running deck, the treadmill offers a comfortable stride during your workout.Brushless 2.75 HP DC motor
The Newton Fitness TM55PTC treadmill is equipped with a brushless 2.75 HP DC motor. Compared to a standard motor, a brushless motor has a longer lifespan, as there is no wear from carbon brushes. In addition, this type of motor is quieter because there is no brush friction. With 2.75 HP, the treadmill is suitable for walking, jogging, or running several times per week. The speed can be set from 1.0 km/h up to a maximum of 16 km/h.Heart rate measurement
During training, you can measure your heart rate by holding the built-in sensors in the handrails. The console also has a built-in receiver, allowing you to measure your heart rate wirelessly when using an optional Bluetooth® chest strap. Wearing a chest strap provides more accurate readings and is recommended if you want to monitor your heart rate continuously. If you only want to check your heart rate occasionally while walking, the built-in sensors are a convenient solution.Console with 4 LED displays
The console includes 26 pre-programmed workouts, 5 user programs, and 3 HRC programs to help you achieve your training goals. Additionally, the console features Bluetooth® and the ability to work with the Kinomap and Zwift apps. All essential training data such as time, speed, distance, and calories are clearly displayed on the 4 illuminated LED screens. When using the Kinomap or Zwift apps, you use the screen of your smartphone or tablet.Incline up to +10%
The treadmill is also equipped with an incline motor, allowing you to train uphill. This lets you increase the intensity of your workout in addition to running at higher speeds. The incline can be set up to a maximum of 10%. During training, you can manually adjust the incline using the console buttons. In some programs, the incline is adjusted automatically.Decline down to -3%
In addition to uphill training, the incline motor also allows downhill (decline) training. This adds variety to your workouts and requires a different level of balance and coordination compared to flat or uphill running. The decline can be set to -1%, -2%, or -3%. During training, you can manually adjust the decline using the console buttons. In some programs, the decline is adjusted automatically.Wireless smartphone charging and convenient extras
If you want to use your tablet or smartphone during training, you can place it in the holder above the 4 LED displays. Is your smartphone battery running low? No problem—your phone will automatically charge when placed in the holder via wireless charging (if your smartphone supports this feature). Other convenient extras on the console include Bluetooth® speakers, a USB port for charging your smartphone or tablet, and a fan that you can activate during training.Automatic folding system
When you are finished training, you can easily fold up the treadmill. Simply press a button and the treadmill will fold up automatically. The treadmill can also be moved easily thanks to the built-in transport wheels. When you want to use the treadmill again, simply press the same button to lower the running deck. Infrared sensors ensure that the system automatically stops lowering if someone is in the way.The final assembly of our fitness equipment is extremely easy to do!
