The Nidecker Gamma APX has a Twin shape, but with one key difference: it is symmetrical from nose to tail, yet asymmetrical from edge to edge. Because clean turns are harder to perform on the heels, we gave that side a narrower sidecut, making the board exceptionally balanced in either direction. The 3D Spoon tips let you enjoy freer butters and a surfy feel when switching edges, while a faster base, refined sidewalls and extra carbon give the APX even more creative potential.

Key features

• The Surf Rail construction joins thinner sidewalls to a core that extends all the way to the edge; it is a great-looking design that makes the APX more agile and holds a turn as if it were on rails.
• The 3D Evolution nose and tail have a spoon shape that eases entry into a turn and helps the board handle deep snow, chop and slush.
• Full-length carbon inserts give the Gamma APX explosive ollie power and add stiffness so you can clear bigger obstacles.

Power Rails

A distinctive Nidecker construction inspired by surfboards. The topsheet wraps around a rounded wooden core and joins a thin sidewall. It is a remarkable construction that is even more remarkable to ride, giving an instant sense of the edge.

Light Core

Our lightest core ever is made of three kinds of wood, including feather-light paulownia and highly responsive poplar. Hard beech stringers down the middle boost overall strength and increase pop.

N-9000

A lightning-fast sintered base made from an extremely dense material with a high carbon content to reduce friction. Well-prepared, it easily delivers race-level results.

Pop Carbon Plus

Pop Carbon is used on both sides of the core and from tip to tip, increasing the board's stiffness. Ideal for aggressive riders who want fast edge response, plenty of pop and smooth riding at high speed.

Absorbnid

An innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. Enjoy a smooth ride and less fatigue.

Biax Plus

Biax Plus features a classic 90° weave but uses more fiberglass to improve energy transfer. It is highly responsive and ideal for riders looking for a stiffer, more agile board that is still playful.

Drop Out

Drop Out is shaped after the tail of a bird of prey. It ensures better control when riding on edge, while also allowing more agility and deep, sharp turns.
