The Meteor Bombay is a single hooded sleeping bag for adults, offering reliable protection and comfort whether you're travelling, camping, bivouacking, or staying overnight at home. This model is a versatile combination of sleeping bag and quilt, performing well in various weather conditions.
The rectangular-shaped sleeping bag features two-way zips along the side and bottom edge. In milder temperatures, the shorter foot-end zip can be opened for a light cooling effect. The full-length double-sided zip allows the sleeping bag to also serve as a quilt, pillow, soft mat for rest, or as a cover. The specialised structure and stitching prevent the filling from shifting, while a Velcro flap stops the zip from coming undone.
The use of high-quality 190T polyester for both the outer and inner layers ensures resistance to moisture and tearing while protecting against heat loss. The 250g/m² Hollowfibre membrane filling offers excellent insulation, retaining warmth within the sleeping bag. The wide temperature range (+15°C to -2°C) ensures comfort across varied weather conditions.
The sleeping bag measures 190cm in length plus a 30cm hood with drawstring and stopper. Its width of 75cm provides ample resting space and unrestricted movement during sleep due to its consistent width. The sleeping bag is machine washable at low temperatures, making it easy to keep clean. A compression sack with adjustable straps and partial buckle fastenings is included, allowing for compact packing.
Camping essential – the rectangular Bombay sleeping bag provides comfort and freedom of movement during sleep. Its high-quality construction and materials shield against wind and cold, offering a soft base and warmth during rest. The double-sided zip is secured with a Velcro flap to prevent accidental unfastening.
Versatile use – its standout feature is multifunctionality. When fully unzipped, the Bombay sleeping bag becomes a quilt, can be rolled up as a pillow, or used as a wrap for your back, such as on chilly mornings. The hood, with drawstrings and stopper, retains head warmth and keeps the pillow position stable.
High quality – the 190T polyester fabric ensures resistance to soaking and damage. Filled with 250g/m² Hollowfibre, the sleeping bag delivers excellent insulation by retaining heat inside and expelling any moisture. Special stitching prevents uncontrolled shifting of the filling, providing maximum comfort.
Thoughtful design – 190cm of sleeping length plus 30cm of integrated hood provides plenty of space to rest. The wide temperature range, from a maximum of +15°C to an extreme of -2°C, makes it suitable for spring and autumn trips as well as colder nights. Machine washable for effortless cleaning.
Easy compression – the sleeping bag can be compacted to a very small size thanks to its elastic filling. The compression sack allows you to adjust the sleeping bag’s size to suit your needs. Its light weight and compact form make it ideal for travel, when you need space-saving luggage.
