The SkiErg uses the same flywheel resistance and electronic monitoring systems as our indoor rower. As well as being durable and well built, the SkiErg is sophisticated too, with an advanced monitor that provides immediate, accurate performance data.
Whether you’re an elite cross-country skier looking to improve your poling power, a weekend enthusiast wanting to get into shape for the ski season, or just someone looking for a great workout, the SkiErg will help you achieve your goals.
Why Choose Concept2 Indoor Skiing Trainers?
- The SkiErg provides all the aerobic and strength benefits, and is available even when there’s no snow or you can’t get to the trails. Even if you've never put on a pair of skis, the SkiErg is the perfect tool to help you reap the benefits of a skiing workout. Skiing is a low impact, high calorie burning exercise suitable for all ages and abilities.
- The SkiErg provides excellent sport-specific training using the poling motions that are integral to both techniques of Nordic Skiing. It also provides a range of resistance similar to that found on snow. It’s safer than training in traffic and is an easy way to add poling to your indoor workouts.
- SkiErgYou no longer have to wax your skis to benefit from the full-body impact-free workout of Nordic skiing: the SkiErg provides all the aerobic and strength benefits, and is available even when there’s no snow or you can’t get to the trails. Even if you've never put on a pair of skis, the SkiErg is the perfect tool to help you reap the benefits of a skiing workout.
- The SkiErg is a low impact exercise that is easy on the knees and ankles. It easily accommodates athletes with lower leg injuries: injured athletes can sit or kneel, reducing the amount of leg involvement, while training at normal intensity and duration using just the upper body and core. It's a great training tool for adaptive athletes, too!
Features of the product:
Wall Mounted or Free Standing (with optional floor stand)
The SkiErg can be either mounted on a wall or used with a floor stand. Wall mounting provides the most compact option, while the floor stand, with its anti-skid deck and caster wheels, provides an all-in-one solution that makes the SkiErg mobile. Either way, the SkiErg is easy to assemble, and we provide all the tools you’ll need to do the job.
High Strength Drive Cords
The SkiErg relies on high-strength cords in its drive system. Much stronger than steel, the cords are also extremely lightweight, resulting in a system that is responsive and smooth.
Flywheel and Damper
The SkiErg responds to your effort on every pull, so you are in full control of your exertion and resistance at all times. The spiral damper allows you to quickly adjust the airflow to the flywheel, so you can change the feel of the pull to suit your preference. Whether you want your workout to feel like you’re on flat terrain or an uphill climb, the SkiErg will respond to your needs.
The SkiErg’s ergonomic, strapless handles provide for a comfortable, secure grip and won’t absorb sweat so they stay dry in high use settings. They are also suitable for all hand sizes as they require no adjustment.

PM5 performance monitor
Our Performance Monitors set us apart from the competition, and the PM5 is our best monitor yet. Sophisticated yet easy to use, the PM5 provides accurate, comparable data that will take your training to the next level. Backlit display, USB flash drive compatibility and a possibility to track heart rate using chest belt (optional) and a wireless pulse receiver.
Packed with Features, Easy to Operate
Functional and easy to use monitor will power up and provide data as soon as the flywheel starts spinning, so you don’t need to push a single button to get started. If you prefer to dive in to all the functions the monitor provides, the easy menu-driven operation lets you quickly access preset workouts, save favorite workouts, review past workout results and much more.
Wireless Heart Rate Monitoring
The PM5 supports ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart for wireless heart rate monitoring. To use this feature, you will need a chest belt that supports one of these transmission technologies. Please note that the PM5 supports Bluetooth Smart, not Bluetooth, which is a different technology.
USB Flash Drive Compatible
The PM5 provides two means of storing your performance data: the internal memory in the monitor itself or with a USB flash drive. The USB flash drive stores your workout data and preferences, and makes your data portable. With our free Concept2 Utility software, you can upload data to your online logbook or transfer data to your Mac or PC.
Compatible with FAT and FAT32 USB formats only.
