A set of as many as 7 solar models
With this set you can build up to 7 solar-powered robots and vehicles yourself. It makes a wonderful and stimulating pastime for slightly older children from 10 years of age. No tools are needed to build the models, because the parts connect using built-in snap fasteners. You can create the following sun-powered robots:
- space station,
- space mech robot,
- space dog,
- astronaut,
- research vehicle,
- space car,
- space shuttle.
Educational toy for children 10+
Construction should begin by assembling the solar panel and the small motor, as these form the main part of every model. Children then practise building a wide variety of robots and space vehicles. Simply place the finished model in the sunlight to watch it drive and move.
Children learn how solar panels work and come to understand the value of green energy for ecology and the environment.
Powered by the sun or by batteries
The solar robots can be powered in 2 ways - after being exposed to the sun for about 3 minutes, which stores energy in the micro-accumulator for about 1 minute of driving. The second option is to replace the micro-accumulator module with a holder for 2 AA batteries, which are not included. This allows the vehicles to be used even on a cloudy day.
