Keep it dry! A waterproof backpack becomes an indispensable piece of gear in wet conditions. SHILO is a backpack made for exactly such bad weather and is popular for its versatile use. It is made of water-resistant material and has taped seams as well as waterproof zippers and closure. It is ideal for heading out into nature in any weather, but can also be used as a dry bag. The roll-top closure lets you change the backpack's volume from 30 to 40 l. Thanks to its low weight, adjustable volume and excellent packability, it is also a favourite as carry-on luggage on a plane.
The simple, partially reinforced back and shoulder straps allow it to be packed down to a small size, so it fits comfortably into a suitcase or can serve as a second piece of hand luggage on holiday. This lightweight, rollable, waterproof backpack is suitable for hiking, mountaineering and water sports. Shilo has taped seams and a roll-top waterproof closure (the same closing system used on dry bags). The closure is additionally secured by a strap with a metal Duraflex buckle, so no water gets inside during rain or a short stay in water. The back is reinforced with lightweight foam and mesh, thanks to which the backpack sits comfortably against the back while ventilating it well.
Shilo is equipped with loops for ice axes and poles, has chest and hip compression straps and a side pocket for small items. Inside the main compartment there is a zipped pocket protected against water, making it suitable for documents and money. All parts of the backpack are made of a strong yet soft material, so Shilo can easily be packed into a smaller bundle and used on the road as a second or backup backpack. Thanks to the roll-top closure the volume can be adjusted, which also makes Shilo suitable as cabin luggage on a plane.
