The Silva Jet OMC advanced wrist compass was created for anyone requiring precise direction in dynamic situations. It will be perfect for orienteering, however, its intended use is primarily for use in bike rallies. The extremely stable needle, combined with the Spectra Speed Dial system, guarantee unparalleled performance characteristics compared to the competition. The Silva Jet OMC wrist compass offers the user a
- High durability against harsh conditions obtained thanks to the rubberized body
- Silva Jet 2.0 needle that guarantees unrivaled rotation and stabilization time
- Contrasting color of the northern section of the needle allowing quick visual finding
- Hand-free mounting thanks to adjustable wrist loops
- Can be mounted on any hand due to symmetrical design
- Spectra Speed Dial with graduations for quick directional control
The Spectra Speed Dial system used in the compass is based on a contrasting black and white graduation on the dial with areas bearing the numbers from 1 to 12. After the initial determination of the direction, memorizing the section number will allow us to control the course efficiently and without requiring attention. This makes the compass ideal for any situation in which the dynamics of movement prevent us from staring at the dial for a long time - for example, in mountain biking. Thanks to the use of Silva's patented Jet 2.0 needle made of Swedish steel with excellent magnetic properties, the compass is characterized by unrivaled fast northward pointing of the needle and extreme stability.
Silva Arc Jet OMC Orientation Compass - the ideal choice for dynamic situations
The body of the compass is made of mechanically durable acrylic coated with rubber to cushion the structure during accidental impacts. The contrasting color of the north-pointing part of the needle guarantees us the ability to quickly, instinctively find the direction with our eyes during dynamic movement. The way the compass is mounted on the hand keeps our hands free, which will prove invaluable during sports that require hand involvement, such as kayaking or cycling.
