Steel construction
The Gerber MP600 is a full-size multi-tool (125 mm folded) built on a one-piece steel frame.
Stainless steel resists corrosion, weather exposure and contaminants, so the Gerber MP600 can work in any conditions.
The manufacturer avoided lightweight aluminum, making the tool durable and able to safely withstand the heavy loads generated when prying, tightening and cutting.
One-handed pliers
Unlike classic multi-tools, the Gerber MP600's spring-loaded pliers are hidden in the handles and don't get in the way while working.
Convenience, speed and functionality describe how the Gerber MP600 pliers operate. This is thanks to a guide system that lets the pliers move very smoothly and easily.
Deploying them only takes a brisk flick of the wrist - there's no need to open the whole tool. An automatic locking mechanism protects the pliers from accidentally folding back.
To retract the pliers, press the symmetrically placed buttons and push the tool back inward.
This functionality ensures quick access to the tool and allows one-handed operation, which is especially useful and important for soldiers, rescuers and firefighters.
The pliers have blunt tips (needle-nose blunt), a serrated inner surface, a cable crimper, and hard-wire cutters with replaceable tungsten carbide inserts.
Two blades
The multi-tool has two blades: plain and serrated, increasing its functionality and versatility. The serrated edge is best suited for cutting hard and fibrous materials such as rope, tape and straps.
The blades are made of hard 420HC stainless steel, which is easy to sharpen and resistant to corrosion.
Saf.T.Plus locking mechanism
The multi-tool features the Saf.T.Plus automatic locking mechanism, which prevents the tools from folding back during use. The locking slider is conveniently positioned for thumb operation.

Included is a sheath made of ballistic nylon, resistant to moisture, mold and weather conditions.
