A powerful, heavy-duty tool for outdoorsmen, hunters, anglers and hikers. The extra-large handle suits even big hands and can be used while wearing gloves. Striking with the back of the blade or the end of the handle demands great strength from the whole construction. The Companion Heavy Duty is the right choice for this kind of use. The handle is injection-moulded onto the tang using a three-layer process, and the exceptionally thick blade is ground to an optimal 27° angle (Scandinavian grind), so it stays sharp for as long as possible even under rough use (standard knives are usually sharpened to 23°).
The rubberised handle has a textured pattern that gives an excellent grip and makes work more efficient. The blade is made of high-carbon steel, so it is easy to sharpen.

The high-visibility orange plastic sheath is easy to find in the dark. It has a drainage hole at the bottom and a belt clip at the top, which can also be fastened to a button or to the optional Twin Holder (item no. 11796), allowing two knives to be carried side by side on the belt. The sheath can also be attached directly to the side of any Morakniv Combi Sheath, so two work knives can be carried together.
