The frame is built stronger than on other types of bikes and is designed for the best possible off-road capability. The geometry can be chosen to achieve optimal stability or agility.
The material is aluminium, the most widely used option. It is lighter than steel and stronger than carbon fibre, and it is used in the production of many types of bicycles. It offers the best price-to-weight ratio.
This mountain bike is built around a KELLYS Alutec RRC 26 aluminium frame (Race Ready Concept, 1.5 tapered head tube) in a 13" (33 cm) size, recommended for riders 130–150 cm tall. An SR Suntour XCM32 NLO DS coil fork with 100 mm of travel and a quick lockout smooths out the trail. Shifting is handled by a 1x8 drivetrain with Shimano Cues Rapidfire Plus shifters, a Shimano Essa U2000 rear derailleur and an 11–45T cassette. Hydraulic Shimano MT200 disc brakes with 160 mm rotors provide reliable stopping power, while WTB Nano Comp 26 x 2.10 tyres deliver grip on varied terrain. Finished in blue, the bike weighs about 15 kg.
