Mobiderm subcutaneous circulation aids are intended to treat swelling of the upper or lower limbs. The product uses Mobiderm technology, which consists of foam cubes placed between two layers of non-woven material.
Mobiderm products are designed to be used under a compression bandage. The porous foam cubes of the Mobiderm technology, randomly arranged between two layers of non-woven material, activate subcutaneous lymph drainage. Pressing against the skin, the cubes create pressure differences between the area they rest on and the surrounding surface, thereby forming multidirectional channels for lymph to circulate beneath the skin. Lymph moves from the areas pressed by the cubes toward the free areas. In this way, lymph drainage and circulation are stimulated.
Do not use in the following cases:
- serious dermatological damage to the relevant limb;
- allergy to any of the component materials;
- advanced peripheral neuropathy of the relevant limb;
- septic thrombosis;
- severe venous inflammation of the limb (phlegmatia coerulea dolens).
Relating to the lower limbs:
- advanced peripheral arterial disease of the lower limbs when the systolic index (SI) < 0.6;
- decompensated heart failure;
- diabetic microangiopathy (if compression > 30 mmHg);
- extra-anatomical shunt of the relevant limb.
Relating to the upper limbs:
- brachial plexus pathology;
- vasculitis of the limbs.
Composition: textile parts: polyester - acrylic adhesive; foam: polyurethane (large cubes) - polyethylene (small cubes).
