Sharpening tip: Move the blade against the sharpening stone either with small circular motions or along the length of the blade, which makes it easier to maintain the correct angle and reduces scratching of the blade. With Morakniv diamond sharpeners you don't need oil or water for sharpening. Finish the job and smooth out any unevenness by rubbing with the leather pouch. Oil the blade occasionally. Never put the knife in a dishwasher, to keep it in great condition.
