The lightweight, shortened (3/4 length) YATE EXTREM LITE KT is ideal above all for cyclists, paddlers and high-mountain trekking thanks to its small pack size and low weight. Lightened inner material, rectangular shape. A mat for demanding conditions.
It protects the most sensitive parts of the body - from the shoulders to the hips - against cold from the ground. The YATE Micro Brushed surface increases friction, so the sleeping bag does not slide off the mat. It can be folded in half for packing. New REVERSE valve.

QUALITY GUARANTEE
Modern products are usually not only pleasing to the eye, but also hide many technical features and details that are not visible yet significantly increase the quality of the product and make it exceptional. For self-inflating mats, the three most important factors are: 1) low weight, 2) small packed size, and 3) long service life.
We achieve low weight by selecting the highest-quality materials for both the surface and the core. The material must be light, yet strong and durable. We also reduce weight by lightening the inner foam. However, this must not come at the expense of comfort and good insulation. The choice of material and the lightening have a substantial influence on the packed size of the product.
All our products have a double layer of insulation against air leakage, laminated onto the top fabric. This ensures high protection and a long service life. Every mat is tested for 24 hours after manufacture, eliminating the risk of shipping a defective product.
THERMAL RESISTANCE
A value increasingly stated for mats. Thermal resistance - R is a physical quantity that expresses the thermal insulation properties of a material. It is directly dependent on the thickness of the material and on λ. To reach the highest possible R value, the aim is for the material thickness to be as large as possible and the λ value of the individual materials as low as possible. Thermal resistance R expresses the resistance of 1 m2 of material to the passage of thermal energy at a temperature difference of 1 K. The thermal conductivity coefficient λ expresses a material's ability to conduct heat. It is the amount of energy in W that passes through a material 1 m thick at a temperature difference of 1 K between the material surfaces. Notes: R = d / λ (m2.K.W-1); d - material thickness (m); λ - thermal conductivity coefficient of the material (W.m-1.K-1).
NON-SLIP "YATE Micro Brushed" SURFACE
In nature it often happens that the sleeping spot is not perfectly level, so even a comfortable mat may not fully serve its purpose if a person slides off it with the sleeping bag. For this reason we developed a special surface with a "Micro Brushed" finish that increases friction and thus prevents the sleeping bag from sliding. We use this surface on most models.
