Premium steel
Theknife has a satin-finished 86mm long head, made of American CPM-S30V stainless steel.
Crucible Industries' S30V powder steel is hardened to an optimal hardness of 58-60 HRC, so it maintains a high sharpness for a long time, has high mechanical strength, and is also resistant to corrosion.
Thanks to its high vanadium carbide content, the steel is distinguished by its high impact and wear resistance, as well as its excellent cutting properties. The blade is coated with a layer of black Teflon, which protects the blade from minor scratches.
When choosing a hard steel knife, get a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient.
Utility head
Thewide blade, with a tactical reverse-tanto profile, has a matte satin finish (polishing) that harmonizes perfectly with the titanium facings.
