The Kershaw Iridium is a folding knife that combines elegance and practicality. Made of D2 steel, the satin-finished Spear Point blade and DuraLock lock go hand in hand here with a minimalist, streamlined form. The subdued color scheme adds a touch of class to the tool.
Kershaw Iridium folding knife - proven steel and Spear Point head
The knife's head was forged from D2 steel, which combines exceptionally high dulling resistance with good stainless steel.
Thanks to the spear-point blade, the Kershaw Iridium has dagger-like penetration properties, which is very good. Simply put, this is a tool for stabbing rather than cutting. The blade is satin-finished.
Kershaw Iridium folding knife - thumb stud and double-sided locking mechanism.
The folder can be opened with a thumb stud on both sides. The DuraLock lock, similar to the otherwise familiar Axis Lock, is also double-sided. The system uses an omega-type spring and is widely considered to be very secure. The lock is placed in such a position that it can be operated comfortably with the thumb.
Gray aluminum facings
Made of dark gray aluminum, the handle gives the tool a cool elegance. It also provides a comfortable grip. It is crowned with a hole for a key ring or lanyard.
Kershaw Shoreline - a folding knife ideal for an EDC kit
The above features, including a high-set and wide clip that can be attached to both sides of the knife, allow you to carry the folder deep in your pants pocket or backpack. As a result, the Kershaw Iridium folding knife is the perfect complement to your EDC kit.
