Description

Kershaw Bel Air 6110 XL folding knife is a larger version of the popular model, made from durable CPM MagnaCut steel and fitted with G10 handle scales. The Kershaw Bel Air offers excellent cutting performance and makes an ideal everyday carry (EDC) tool.

Kershaw Bel Air 6110 XL features:

  • Clip Point blade made from durable CPM MagnaCut steel (62-64 HRC).
  • Blade finished with an elegant Stonewash coating.
  • Thumb notches on the spine of the blade for a secure grip.
  • Knife fitted with a reliable Dura Lock mechanism.
  • KVT ball-bearing system ensures smooth blade movement.
  • Sturdy G10 scales provide a secure grip in any conditions.
  • Reversible pocket clip allows deep carry.
  • Lanyard hole at the end of the handle.
  • Easy one-handed opening via ambidextrous thumb stud.

Kershaw Bel Air with CPM MagnaCut steel blade

The blade is made from stainless CPM MagnaCut steel, produced using powder metallurgy. The key difference from other stainless steels is its chromium carbide content. Removing chromium carbides creates a fine microstructure, making it much easier to sharpen than steels with similar wear resistance. The absence of chromium carbides also improves the balance between toughness and wear resistance, as well as corrosion resistance.

Convenient Kershaw blade opening

The blade can be conveniently and quickly opened with one hand using the ambidextrous thumb stud, suitable for both right- and left-handed users. KVT ball bearings ensure smooth blade opening.

Durable Dura Lock mechanism

Dura Lock is structurally similar to the well-known Axis Lock system, which is regarded as a very safe and strong blade locking mechanism. The lock is positioned for convenient thumb operation from both sides of the handle.

Sturdy and lightweight G10 composite handle

The Kershaw knife features a G10 composite handle. This is a strong and lightweight composite made of a fiberglass and epoxy resin laminate, offering high resistance to moisture, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. The textured surface ensures a firm grip and improves control during use.

Adjustable EDC pocket clip

The Deep Carry clip, which can be mounted on either side of the handle, allows discreet pocket carry. Its deep placement lets you comfortably carry the knife in your trouser pocket.
