TheGanzo Firebird FB727S-GY is a proven everyday knife, featuring a 440C stainless steel blade, convenient G-lock, textured G10 liners and a double-sided peg for instant blade deployment.
The FB727S-BK is a medium-sized folding knife with above-average utility, which will be great for city, forest and mountain trekking.
The knife uses a drop-point blade with a length of 78 mm, which is a great compromise between functionality and convenience for everyday use.
The 440C steel used, with 57-58 HRC hardening, is resistant to corrosion, maintains working sharpness for a long time, and sharpens easily and quickly. The smoothness and efficiency of cutting is ensured by the flat grind, ending with a strong tip for easy penetration and precise cutting.
At the base, the ridge of the blade has been slightly raised and cross cutters have been applied, allowing the fingers to rest steadily while working.
The blade can be quickly and easily unfolded with one hand, thanks to the double-sided peg. Such a solution makes the blade instantly ready for action and allows comfortable operation for right- and left-handed people.
After unfolding, the blade is locked by the G-lock system, a reliable mechanism with high mechanical resistance, which, like the peg, can be operated with the left or right hand.
In the design of the knife a large role is played by the handle, as on it depends the comfort and safety of use. The Ganzo Firebird FB727S-BK uses liners made of lightweight and durable G10 laminate.
The rough texture of the grip means that the knife also sits securely and comfortably in a wet or frozen hand.
A steel, offset clip and a cord hole emphasize the tool's everyday character.
