Description

The "Kershaw Duojet 8300" is a modern EDC knife made with 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, a flipper-assisted opening mechanism, a carbon-fiber steel coating, and a sturdy frame lock.

Proven steel

The 89 mm long blade is made from the popular 8Cr13MoV steel, hardened to 57-59 HRC. This Chinese steel offers good corrosion resistance and hardenability comparable to AUS6.

The 8Cr13MoV steel blade is excellent for everyday use thanks to its corrosion resistance, good sharpness, and easy sharpening - a pocket sharpener is enough.

Functional blade

The knife has a thin blade with a useful clip-point profile, an expressive false edge, and a thumb ramp. Longitudinal cutouts in the blade reduce its weight and allow the blade to be opened with the thumb.

Thanks to the strong tip, concave grind, and clearly rounded edge, the knife offers good cutting performance, and sharpening it poses no problems.

The blade thickness at its widest point is 2.8 mm - a compromise between the knife's durability and functionality in daily use.

The entire blade is covered with a ceramic titanium nitride coating, which protects against weather conditions and saltwater exposure, and offers exceptional hardness, corrosion resistance, and chemical stability (it does not change color over time).

Quick deployment

The blade can be opened with one hand in two ways: with the milled flipper or using the dual thumb stud, so you can choose the method you prefer. Both solutions are convenient for both right- and left-handed users, and also allow comfortable use of the knife while wearing gloves.

Assisted opening mechanism

The opening process is aided by the "SpeedSafe" assisted mechanism. Pressing the blade's flipper engages an internal spring that dynamically deploys the blade, making the knife ready for use in a fraction of a second.

Blade lock

The integrated frame lock, considered one of the most durable locking mechanisms, effectively prevents accidental blade closure. Like the opening mechanism, the lock can be operated with one hand.

Elegant handle

The knife's handle is made of stainless steel scales, subtly contoured to fit the hand. Like the blade, the handle is protected with a carbon-titanium coating, giving the knife a very modern design.

An eye-catching element for knife enthusiasts is the decorative carbon-fiber inlay, which adds elegance and complements the two-tone blade color well. There is a hole at the rear of the handle for attaching a lanyard or paracord.

A standard clip allows the knife to be carried daily in a pocket, and it can be mounted in 2 positions (left/right).
