Elite Force EF173 - folding EDC knife in the Flask hunting store
The Elite Force EF173 EDC knife combines modern design, good quality materials, functionality and an attractive price, so it's great for people who want to buy their first folding knife.
The blade is made of 440A stainless steel, which is durable, corrosion-resistant, and sharpens quickly, without the need for expensive diamond sharpeners. 440A steel has a lower retention (ability to maintain sharpness), but this is wonderfully compensated for by the ease and speed with which it has become re-sharpened. The blade is finished with a stonewash technique, which effectively masks scratches and imperfections that occur during use of the knife.
The knife has a 4mm blade with a symmetrical Spear Point profile, with a derived flat grind and a distinctly rounded belly of the cutting edge. This combination guarantees smooth cutting, knife durability and functionality. There is a raised thumb ramp on the back, which allows the finger to rest steadily when planing or fine cutting with the tip.
Elite Force folding knife with solid blade lock for safety
The knife uses the proven Liner Lock lock, which securely locks the blade when unfolded and prevents the blade from accidentally closing during use. The steel locking bar ensures the safety of the knife, and its operation is intuitive and easy. The locking bar is a key element in the design of the folding knife, affecting the functionality and safety of the tool. The blade can be instantly unfolded with one hand using the flipper, making the knife ready for use in no time. Thanks to the use of bearings on the pivot axis, the unfolded blade runs smoothly and lightly.
The knife has G10 laminate and carbon fiber facings, this guarantees great grip and comfort while using the knife. The handle has a contoured shape with contoured bevels, which improves the knife's grip and comfort while working.
The Elite Force EF 173 can be carried comfortably in your pocket with the help of a spring-loaded tip-up clip.
