The head of the Civivi Elementum is made of D2 steel. Thanks to the high admixture of chromium, the steel is tough and hard. Hardening from 58-60 HRC makes it resistant to abrasion.
Civivi Elementum folding knife - head.
The knife features a Drop Point type blade. The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high and concave grind, makes the knife cut very well. A section of the back of the blade is covered with the so-called upper jimping, or notching, allowing the thumb to rest there safely. This makes it easier to manipulate the folder, especially during work that requires more precision and leverage.
Stonewashed
Thanks to the Black Stonewash finish, the blade is stained black and covered with irregular, fine scratches, which mask well subsequent scratches that occur during normal use of the knife.
Civivi Elementum folding knife - bearings, flipper and liner lock
The folder is equipped with ceramic ball bearings, supporting the operation of the knife's opening mechanism. Thanks to the proven Liner Lock, the tool is safe and trustworthy.
The knife opens with a flipper. When the head pops out of the handle, the latter forms a kind of guard, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade.
Civivi Elementum folding knife and synthetic handle
The Civivi Elementum's handle is made of orange-dyed G10. - a composite of fiberglass and synthetic resin, which is lightweight and not susceptible to mechanical damage. Thanks to the open backed design, the tool can be cleaned and oiled without too much trouble. The rough texture of the liners makes the knife fit well even in a sweaty hand.

Civivi Elementum - clip and case
The manufacturer also took care of convenient transportation of the knife, equipping it with a clip. It was constructed in such a way that the tool almost does not protrude from the pocket and is not conspicuous.
The folder can also be carried in a zippered nylon case. Civivi even remembered to include a microfiber cloth to help clean the tool.
