Season 2, 2024 novelty - released August 2024. The new Benchmade 593 PSK (Personal Survival Kit) was originally developed by the manufacturer as a robust, lightweight bushcraft tool for demanding outdoor enthusiasts. It is available in 2 different versions: Carbon Fiber and Black G10 with a red thumb stud, and Gray G10 and OD Green G10. Both versions feature a blade made of corrosion-resistant CPM-MagnaCut steel (60-62 HRC) with a black Cerakote finish. The Benchmade AXIS-Assist mechanism is used as the locking system, which opens the knife semi-automatically via a spring. On the spine of the blade there is a safety pin that prevents unintentional opening of the blade. As a special feature, the PSK has a striking surface on the blade that can be used with a fire starter rod.
