Note: the originally presented version with Charcoal Grey handle scales was never produced; its successor is Crater Blue. The idea for the Immunity was developed during the long course of the pandemic - which is also where its name comes from. The goal was to meet the frequently voiced wish of US government officials for a lightweight, compact EDC knife well suited to self-defense, without exceeding a blade length of 2.5 inches. Exceeding this blade length results in carry restrictions in many parts of the USA.
For this reason, the Wharncliffe blade shape was the first choice. By using a Cerakote-coated CPM-M4 carbon steel blade, full cutting power could be maintained all the way to the needle-thin ground tip of the blade.
The anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handles are available in three attractive colors: Crater Blue, Flat Dark Earth, and Woodland Green. These help give the Immunity a very good look despite its relatively short Wharncliffe blade. The Axis lock can be ordered in manual or automatic versions, so with the 2.49-inch blade, six versions are currently offered. Pulling the Axis bolt opens the blade of the automatic version very comfortably and securely. A lanyard at the end of the handle is included with every model, making it easier to draw the knife, which is carried with a mini deep-carry clip.
