An updated version of the proven Benchmade Taggedout folding hunting knife, made with even better quality materials. The G10 handle scales provide even higher mechanical resistance, while premium-grade S45VN steel means the knife holds its edge perfectly and resists damp working environments.
The Benchmade 15536 Taggedout is a handy folding knife that could be described as a Bugout for hunters. The Benchmade 15536 Taggedout folding hunting knife combines light weight, functionality and high-quality materials, letting it easily handle any task in the woods - from preparing a meal at camp, to skinning and dressing game, to cutting paracord and whittling sticks.
Features of the Benchmade 15536 Taggedout folding knife:
- Modern steel blade: made from high-quality CPM-S45VN powder steel, hardened to 58-61 HRC. CPM-S45VN steel offers excellent edge retention, exceptional corrosion resistance and durability, ideal for use in damp environments. The blade is ground using SelectEdge 34° technology (17° per side), giving a thin, exceptionally sharp cutting edge ideal for precise tasks such as skinning, meat trimming, filleting or slicing.
- Functional blade: the slim 69 mm clip point blade is perfectly suited to a variety of hunting and outdoor tasks. A large hole in the blade allows it to be opened easily one-handed, even while wearing gloves, regardless of which hand is dominant.
- Reliable lock: the Axis Lock mechanism, known for its durability, resistance to dirt and ease of use, guarantees safety and comfort.
- Durable, ergonomic handle: G10 composite scales, resistant to water, temperature changes, acids and solvents. The contoured handle shape with a finger choil and textured surface ensures a secure grip and comfort even in demanding conditions. The distinctive orange color of the scales makes the knife easier to spot in the field.
The knife has a slim 69 mm clip point blade made from exceptionally hard CPM-S45VN powder steel hardened to 58-61 HRC. CPM-S45VN is a powder metallurgy steel created as a successor to the successful S30V and S35VN steels, offering remarkably effective edge retention and outstanding rust resistance. These properties make CPM-S45VN steel ideal for a hunting skinning knife as well as an advanced outdoor knife. Thanks to SelectEdge 34° technology (17° per side), the knife has a thin, exceptionally sharp cutting edge, ideal for precise cutting, filleting and trimming meat.

The Taggedout blade can be conveniently opened one-handed thanks to the large hole in the blade, allowing both right- and left-handed users, as well as those wearing gloves, to operate the knife comfortably. The blade lock is of course the Axis Lock, Benchmade's flagship mechanism, valued for its high load resistance, insensitivity to dirt and ease of use.
Durable scales on the Benchmade hunting knife
The Benchmade 15535 Taggedout has contoured scales made of exceptionally durable G10 composite. The glass-epoxy laminate used is characterized by high mechanical strength and resistance to water, temperature changes, and many acids and solvents.
The contoured shape combined with a finger choil, cross-milling and textured material surface ensure an excellent grip on the knife and comfortable use.
A Deep Carry clip, which can be mounted on either side of the scales, allows for discreet pocket carry. The handle also features a hole for attaching a lanyard or paracord. The distinctive orange color of the scales makes the knife more visible against forest undergrowth and easier to find if lost.
