The Lupine 6.9 Ah SmartCore battery is a high-performance, high-quality battery for all Lupine lights equipped with an external battery (excluding Alpha). It is the same model that ships as standard with several Lupine Betty and Wilma headlamp models. The battery can be mounted wherever you like using the hook-and-loop strap that runs through the attachment loop at the rear - for example, on a ventilated helmet, a bike frame, a belt, a backpack and so on.
SmartCore batteries feature charge-level indicator lights (5 of them), which can also be used as a rear light. The charge level is checked by pressing a button and is shown in 10% increments. At the same time the battery emits an audible signal, so the charge level can also be checked when you cannot see the lights. 40% = 2 beeps. In the event of a fault, the battery switches off automatically.
