The Lupine 3.5 Ah SmartCore battery is a lightweight, high-performance and high-quality battery for Lupine lights (excluding e.g. Alpha and Penta). It is compatible with FastClick quick mounts, which let you attach the battery to a vented helmet or to the handlebar, for example. The FastClick mount makes life easier for active Lupine users: you can swap and attach the battery in seconds without any tools.
SmartCore batteries feature charge-level indicator LEDs (5 of them) that can also be used as a rear light. The charge level is checked by pressing a button and is shown in 10% increments. The battery also gives an audible signal, so you can check the charge level even when you cannot see the lights. 40% = 2 beeps.
In a fault situation, the battery automatically switches itself off.
