The Lupine 13.8 Ah SmartCore battery is a rugged, high-quality battery and the most powerful model in the range, suitable for all Lupine lights (except Alpha and Penta). The battery can be attached wherever you like using the hook-and-loop strap that runs through the mounting loop on the back - for example to a vented helmet, a bike frame, a belt, a backpack and so on.
SmartCore batteries feature charge-level indicator lights (5 in total) that can also be used as a rear light. The charge level is checked by pressing a button and is shown in 10% increments. At the same time the battery gives an audible signal, so the charge level can also be checked when you cannot see the lights. 40% = 2 beeps. In the event of a fault, the battery switches off automatically.
