How to switch to charcoal:
- Step 1: remove the cast iron grates.
- Step 2: place the charcoal tray in the grill and spread the charcoal evenly across the tray.
- Step 3: put the grates back.
Add the charcoal, light 2 burners and close the lid for 10-15 minutes. Turn off the burners and wait 5 minutes for the charcoal to ignite. No lighter fluids required.
