The Fenix WT25R spotlight is a multifunctional work flashlight with a maximum light output of 1000 lumens. It features an adjustable-angle head, a magnetic mount for hands-free work, and a convenient charging system via a magnetic cable.
The Fenix WT25R is a powerful angle-head flashlight that, thanks to its functionality, easy mounting, convenient charging, and adjustable beam angle, is useful not only in the workshop but also in everyday activities that require free hands.
Modern angle-head flashlight technology and features
The Fenix WT25R features a minimalist design reminiscent of the angle-head flashlights used by the military in the second half of the 20th century. The housing has a slim rectangular shape with a ribbed surface, so it won't slip out of your hand and is comfortable and pleasant to use. The Fenix WT25R housing is made of anodized aluminum and durable polymer, making the flashlight not only damage-resistant but also lightweight (137 g with battery).
What sets this flashlight apart is its movable head with 105° angle adjustment. This feature allows you to direct light at a chosen angle, making it ideal for various repair jobs, inspections, and lighting hard-to-reach places. Among the desirable features of any workshop flashlight are simplicity and versatility of mounting. That's why the Fenix WT25R uses a dual mounting system: a wide steel clip that lets you carry the flashlight on a belt, in a pocket, or in a bag, and a magnetic tail cap that allows you to quickly attach the flashlight to steel surfaces. Regardless of the mounting method chosen, the user's hands remain free.
1000-lumen LED
The light source is a next-generation Cree XP-L HI LED, delivering a maximum light output of 1000 lumens at a range of up to 220 meters. The neutral light color is easy on the eyes, ensures more natural color reproduction, and better visibility of details. The user can choose from 4 constant-light modes (turbo, high, medium, low) and 2 flashing modes (strobe and SOS). This allows the light output to be adapted to needs while also affecting the flashlight's runtime.
All flashlight control - turning on, turning off, and switching modes - is done with a single side button that has a built-in battery charge indicator. The LED indicator clearly shows the battery status, allowing more efficient management of power reserves.
Convenient magnetic charging
The manufacturer uses a replaceable Fenix ARB-L18-3400 cell with a capacity of 3400 mAh to power the flashlight. According to the manufacturer, the battery provides up to 220 minutes of runtime at the maximum 1000-lumen mode, or up to 29 hours at the low 50-lumen mode. In addition, thanks to the battery charge indicator function (LED in the side switch), you can monitor the flashlight's operation and manage the remaining power reserve. Each time the switch is pressed (while the flashlight is off), the LED shows the battery status in real time.
The Fenix WT25R uses a convenient charging system that doesn't require removing the battery from the flashlight. Charging is done via a magnetic cable with a gold-plated plug. When the magnetic cable is brought near the port, the plug automatically connects. This solution is convenient, protects the port and cable from mechanical damage (being pulled out), and eliminates the need to check whether the plug is properly inserted for charging.
Additional features
The flashlight has protection against overheating, reverse polarity, a lock-out function against accidental activation, and a memory mode. This feature remembers and turns the flashlight on in the last mode used before it was switched off. The Fenix WT25R housing has an IP66 rating, making it resistant to heavy rain, dust, and drops from a height of 1 m.
