The Fenix WF11E is a specialized, intrinsically safe (Ex) flashlight with a light output of up to 200 lumens and a dual mounting system. It holds IECEx, ATEX and SGS certifications, making it suitable for use in highly explosive environments and areas with high dust concentrations.
The Fenix WF11E is a compact, easy-to-carry flashlight that delivers an effective 200-lumen light output.
The flashlight body is made of antistatic polycarbonate RTP 399 x 133887, resistant to mechanical damage, corrosion and exposure to certain chemicals.
The housing comes in a distinctive orange color, making it easy to spot and quickly locate even in poor lighting conditions.
A magnet built into the tail of the flashlight and the spring clip allows it to be attached to steel surfaces at a desired angle, or carried clipped to a belt or strap.
This makes it invaluable when a focused light source and free hands are needed for work.
The light source is the popular Cree XP-G2 LED, which emits a neutral-white beam that is easy on the eyes and renders the colors and details of illuminated objects more accurately.
The flashlight is switched on, switched off and its brightness is adjusted using a single button on top of the head.
The user can choose from 3 brightness modes: high (200 lumens), medium (100 lumens) and low (30 lumens). The flashlight runs on three AA alkaline batteries. The manufacturer specifies that only the indicated battery types should be used.
The Fenix WF11E features physical reverse-polarity protection and a high IP67 rating, meaning the device is resistant to dust, heavy rain, complete submersion in water up to 1 meter deep (for 30 minutes), and drops from a height of 1 meter.
The Fenix WF11E has been thoroughly tested and holds IECEx, ATEX and SGS certifications, allowing it to be used in especially hazardous environments, namely:
- Zone 1 - an area in which an explosive atmosphere consisting of a mixture of air and flammable substances in the form of gas, mist or vapor is likely to occur occasionally during normal operation.
- Zone 2 - an area in which an explosive atmosphere consisting of a mixture of air and flammable gases or mist is not likely to occur in normal operation, but if it does occur, will persist only briefly.
- Zone 21 - an area in which an explosive atmosphere in the form of a cloud of combustible dust in air is likely to occur occasionally during normal operation.
- Zone 22 - an area in which an explosive atmosphere in the form of a cloud of combustible dust in air is not likely to occur in normal operation, but if it does occur, will persist only briefly.
Only the following battery models should be used in the flashlight:
- Energizer E91,
- Duracell MN1500,
- Rayovac 815
| LED | Mode | Max. luminous flux [lm] | Max. runtime [h min] | Max. distance [m] | Max. luminous intensity [cd] | |
