The Olight x Magicshine RN 1500 is a lightweight rechargeable bicycle light with a maximum output of 1500 lumens.
This bicycle light is designed for mountain biking, commuting in the city or riding on the road. It features an anti-glare lens that emits an even, soft beam that does not dazzle oncoming pedestrians or vehicles and also reduces eye fatigue, making night riding safer. The light line is angled so that the beam is projected forward at the same height as the light, not higher.
The RN 1500 has a built-in 21700 5000 mAh 3.7 V lithium-ion battery that is easily charged with the included USB-C to USB-A cable. The recommended output is 5 V, 3 A.
The USB-C port can also be used as a power bank to discharge the light and charge external devices such as a phone, with a maximum output of 5 V, 2.4 A.
The battery level indicator below the switch lets you check the battery status. This can be done with a single press of the button when the light is off, or it will light up the first time you turn on the RN 1500. The indicator glows green to show 20-100% charge, red for 10-20% charge, or flashes red to show 0-10% charge.
The high-quality handlebar mount has three straps of different lengths that can be swapped to fit various handlebars, and a quick-release function that lets you leave the mount attached to the handlebar and easily remove the light. The strap is inserted into the mount, and once the mount is in place it can be tightened with the included wrench for a secure fit. The light is then inserted horizontally into the mount and turned 90 degrees forward to lock it in place. A GoPro mount is also included so the light can be attached to a GoPro.
