TECHNOLOGIES
100% UV PROTECTION - The UltraViolet filters in UVEX glasses provide 100% protection for the iris against dangerous UV rays up to 400 nm. This is also the essence of the company name: UV-EX = UltraViolet EXcluded.
SAFETY TESTS - All UVEX eyewear models are thoroughly checked in the laboratory through special tests. This guarantees high quality, functionality and safety. The data obtained during testing is later used to improve the glasses.
VARIOMATIC - Photochromic lenses automatically adapt to lighting conditions.
SUPRAVISION - An effective anti-fog coating that does not compromise optical properties. This special surface treatment of the lenses ensures the glasses do not fog up. It increases safety and provides a clear view even in the worst weather conditions. The Supravision protective layer is applied on the inside and does not alter the optical properties of the lenses.
ADAPTABLE SOFT NOSE PADS AND SOFT TEMPLES - Glasses fit well when you don't feel them while wearing them. They provide maximum comfort without any sense of pressure.
EASY TO CLEAN - The lenses are covered with a special coating, so you can clean the glasses easily and quickly. This coating is also antistatic - dirt and dust do not build up on the lenses. This ensures maximum visibility even in the most extreme conditions.
IMPACT RESISTANCE - UVEX glasses are tested according to the EN ISO 12312-1:2013 standard. The test performed: a 6 mm steel ball weighing 0.86 g is fired at the lenses at a speed of 45 m/s (162 km/h). This means the glasses, and with them your eyes, are protected against mechanical damage.
STURDY AND SCRATCH RESISTANT - The lenses are made of sturdy polycarbonate, which retains its strength properties even down to minus 40 °C. A special coating protects the lenses from damage such as scratches without compromising optical properties, in accordance with the EN ISO 12312-1 standard. Except for lenses with a full mirror coating.
