TECHNOLOGIES
100% UV PROTECTION The ultraviolet filters in UVEX glasses provide 100% protection for the iris against harmful UV rays up to 400nm. This is also the essence of the company name. UV-EX = UltraViolet EXcluded.
LITEMIRROR The lenses provide additional protection against infrared rays.
ADAPTIVE SOFT NOSE PADS AND SOFT TEMPLES Glasses fit well when you don't feel them while wearing them. They provide maximum comfort without any sense of pressure.
DISTORTION-FREE LENSES Image distortions can be a nuisance, especially when riding at higher speeds. That is why UVEX uses top-class decentred lenses that provide a clear view without any distortion. See the world as it really is.
SAFETY TESTS All UVEX glasses models are carefully checked in the laboratory during special tests. This guarantees high quality, functionality and safety. The data obtained during testing is later used to improve the glasses.
IMPACT RESISTANCE UVEX glasses are tested according to the EN ISO 12312-1:2013 standard. The test performed: a 6mm steel ball weighing 0.86 g is fired at the lenses at a speed of 45 m/s (162 km/h). So the glasses, and with them your eyes, are protected against mechanical damage.
DURABLE AND SCRATCH-RESISTANT The lenses are made of durable polycarbonate, which retains its strength properties even down to minus 40 °C.
