TECHNOLOGIES
100% UV PROTECTION The UV filters in UVEX glasses provide 100% protection of the iris from harmful UV rays up to 400nm. This is also the essence of the company name. UV-EX = UltraViolet EXcluded.
LITEMIRROR The lenses additionally protect against infrared rays.
ADAPTIVE SOFT NOSE PADS AND SOFT TEMPLES Glasses fit well when you don't feel them while wearing them. They provide maximum comfort without any sensation of pressure.
DISTORTION-FREE LENSES Visual distortions can be disruptive, especially when riding at higher speeds. That is why UVEX uses top-class decentred lenses that provide a clear image without any distortion. See the view as it really is.
SAFETY TESTS All UVEX glasses models are carefully checked in the laboratory during special tests. This guarantees high quality, functionality and safety. The data obtained during the tests is later used to improve the glasses.
IMPACT RESISTANCE UVEX glasses are tested according to the EN ISO 12312-1:2013 standard. The test performed: a 6mm steel ball weighing 0.86 g is fired at the lenses at a speed of 45 m/s (162 km/h). So the glasses, and with them your eyes, are protected from mechanical damage.
DURABLE AND SCRATCH-RESISTANT The lenses are made of durable polycarbonate that retains its strength properties even down to minus 40 °C.
