The grill is versatile, allowing all kinds of cooking. The 2-tier Divide & Conquer® cooking system lets you prepare food at different heights and temperatures - from low-temperature barbecue to burgers, steaks or pizzas at high heat.
The grill's tight seal keeps moisture inside and prevents the food you are cooking from drying out.
Ease of use
The included two-piece ceramic heat deflector lets you choose whether to cook with direct or indirect heat.
The Kamado Joe grill has two vents - top and bottom - which let you set the required temperature very precisely.
All of this is easy to monitor thanks to the clearly visible thermometer built into the lid. Ash is easily removed using the scoop located at the bottom of the grill.
The SloRoller accessory, developed at Harvard University, harnesses the power of cyclonic airflow technology for much better control of heat and smoke. The SloRoller is designed to enhance the flavour and texture of food when cooking with indirect heat. The Kamado Joe Big Joe 3 comes with huge cooking grates, ideal for grilling/smoking large pieces of beef brisket or several kilograms of ribs. You can use the grill grate Expander system, which lets you cook food at different heights.
