TECHNOLOGIES
Suitable for e-bikes. When developing our e-bike tires, we draw on more than 100 years of experience gained in producing moped and motorcycle tires. All Continental city/touring tires are designed for riding at a standard speed of at least 25 km/h. Tires marked E-50 are also certified for use with S-pedelecs. The high-quality construction ensures strong puncture protection without increasing rolling resistance and protects against premature wear.
PureGrip compound is made from an activated silica compound and is a good example of how we continually incorporate customer feedback into our research and development. This compound technology works excellently together with the BlackChili Compound. The name PureGrip reflects exactly what it says - the outstanding properties of this compound are exceptionally good grip and durability.
