Suitable for electric bikes. When developing our e-bike tyres we draw on more than 100 years of experience gained making moped and motorcycle tyres. All Continental city/touring tyres are designed to be ridden at a standard speed of at least 25 km/h. Tyres marked E-50 are also certified for use with S-pedelecs. The high-quality construction provides strong protection against punctures without increasing rolling resistance and guards against premature wear.
Rigid casing - the durable, elastic rubber compound delivers lasting riding pleasure. A sturdy 60 TPI nylon body ensures maximum service life. A solid wire bead guarantees that the tyre stays firmly seated on the rim. For ambitious amateur riders it is an affordable alternative to Continental BlackChili and PureGrip tyres.
