Suitable for e-bikes. Our e-bike tyres draw on more than 100 years of experience gained in making moped and motorcycle tyres. All Continental city/touring tyres are designed for riding at a standard speed of at least 25 km/h. Tyres marked E-50 are also certified for use with S-pedelecs. The high-quality construction ensures strong puncture protection without increasing rolling resistance and prevents premature wear.
Thanks to ProTection technology, Continental tyres combine good rolling, grip and puncture protection perfectly. This is achieved with four layers under the tread and three on the sidewalls. The whole tyre becomes more resilient and less vulnerable.
Tubeless Ready - the tyres can be used with or without tubes, because the tyre and rim are designed to seal tightly against each other. An additional universal puncture protection layer developed specifically for mountain biking makes Continental tyres especially resistant to damage and foreign-object penetration. For maximum effect, ProTection is combined with the BlackChili compound. The result: versatile, lightweight and appealing tyres. All tyres with this technology can be set up tubeless.
