Suitable for e-bikes. Our e-bike tyres are built on more than 100 years of experience in producing moped and motorcycle tyres. All Continental city/touring tyres are designed for riding at a standard speed of at least 25 km/h. Tyres marked E-50 are also certified for use with S-pedelecs. The high-quality construction ensures strong puncture protection without increasing rolling resistance and prevents premature wear.
Thanks to ProTection technology, Continental tyres combine excellent rolling, grip and puncture protection. This is achieved using four layers under the tread and three on the sidewalls. The whole tyre gains greater durability and becomes less vulnerable.
Tubeless Ready - the tyres can be used with or without tubes, because the tyre and rim are designed to seal tightly against each other. An additional universal puncture protection layer, developed specifically for mountain biking, makes Continental tyres especially resistant to damage and to the penetration of foreign objects. For maximum effect, ProTection is combined with the BlackChili compound. The result: versatile, light and attractive tyres. All tyres with this technology can be adapted to a tubeless system.
