TECHNOLOGIES
PUREGRIP COMPOUND - Based on the activated silica compound, this compound technology was purposefully developed for performance. After intensive development, the Korbach research and development department produced a special compound technology with outstanding grip and cross-country properties. The rubber compound named "PureGrip" ranks just behind the BlackChili compound and is used in performance products in the race and mountain bike segments.
SHIELDWALL SYSTEM - The ShieldWall system combines high puncture protection with low rolling resistance and low weight. This is made possible by an additional all-round puncture protection layer consisting of a finely woven cross fabric, giving the tire a high resistance to punctures and damage. Despite the additional ply, the tire retains very good damping properties and a high degree of flexibility to adapt perfectly to the ground. The tubeless ready bead allows easy and uncomplicated mounting. For best sealing results, we recommend using Continental RevoSealant sealant.
TUBELESS READY - Developed especially for the mountain bike sector, this additional puncture protection layer completely encircles both tire beads, making the carcass robust and resistant to damage and penetration from foreign objects. Tires made using this technology can also be used as Tubeless Ready.
