Shifting on the SL-M7000 levers is handled by the ergonomic "Rapidfire Plus" shift levers, which let riders shift three gears with a single stroke and release gears with the index finger or thumb. This simple yet extremely useful feature also ensures easy and stable front and rear shifting.
- The levers are also equipped with 2-Way Release, so you can ride in different styles or shift gears (with the index finger or thumb) from various riding positions. The upper lever still performs the same function, but it swings both ways. Pull it with your finger or push it with your thumb - the choice is yours.
- I-Spec B is an integrated mounting system for the brake and shift levers. It needs only a single clamp, saving space, providing a cleaner look and reducing weight. In addition, the horizontally adjustable position allows for optimal individual setup.
