TECHNOLOGIES:
- 2-WAY RELEASE - The RAPIDFIRE Plus shifter is often called a trigger, because it is operated like a pistol, pulling toward the handlebar grip. RAPIDFIRE Plus shifters from ALIVIO to XTR can be operated in the same way, but with the added option of shifting to a harder gear by pushing with the thumb.
- RAPIDFIRE PLUS - Mountain bikers have used RAPIDFIRE Plus since 1985. RAPIDFIRE Plus is still chosen by a wide range of cyclists - from XC racers to freeriders. RAPIDFIRE Plus is designed for fast shifting, allowing cyclists to shift up to three gears at once. All RAPIDFIRE Plus shifters from DEORE to XTR use 2-WAY RELEASE technology, meaning gears are shifted by pulling with the index finger or pressing with the thumb.
- OPTICAL GEAR DISPLAY - shows which gear is selected while riding. On the lower or upper side you can see how many gears you can choose, making gear shifting easier to manage.
