The shock absorber in the CRX/URB 70 S seatpost fully smooths out all minor bumps and small obstacles, and also helps reduce sudden impacts caused by large bumps or big obstacles. This provides a comfortable ride in demanding conditions. The forged head and hardened alloy ensure lasting durability that can withstand the toughest conditions. Designed mainly for cross-country, trekking and touring rides, but it also performs excellently in urban conditions for cyclists weighing 40 - 80 kg. The suspension can be adjusted to the rider's preference using the hex bolt located at the lower part of the seatpost. Tightening the bolt makes the post stiffer, so it suits heavier riders. Loosening the bolt makes the post softer, so it better suits lighter riders.

• The 6061 alloy is commonly used in yacht construction, car chassis or scuba gear. This aluminium alloy is made to last a long time under really high pressure.
• Forged - a solid block of heated aluminium is hammered and compressed into the desired shape. This produces a stiffer material that can withstand greater pressure.
