Rear derailleur SHIMANO GRX RD-RX822-SGS Shadow+ with long cage | 1x12 gears
- With GRX, Shimano introduced the first shifting group designed specifically for gravel. Since then, its range of applications and the gravel bike segment have expanded considerably. Responding to this development, Shimano has also broadened the GRX line-up. The rear wheel offers 12 sprockets and a choice of 1- and 2-speed setups, so you can tailor the drivetrain even better to your needs.
- The RX822-SGS rear derailleur is designed specifically for the GRX 1x12 system with Shimano 10-51 tooth cassettes for Shimano Micro Spline freehub bodies. This drivetrain delivers the widest range on the steepest climbs, letting you enjoy the benefits of a 1x setup.
- Thanks to the built-in Shadow RD+ chain stabiliser, the chain stays securely in place even on the roughest gravel roads. As is typical for Shimano, shifting takes only a light touch of the fingers and is fast and precise. Even in unfavourable conditions the chain reliably moves from one sprocket to the next. For optimal adjustment, the rear derailleur has its own adjustment screw to set the Bowden cable tension.
- Thanks to the compact Shadow design, the rear derailleur sits closer to the frame. This slim, low-profile construction not only looks good but also protects the rear derailleur from damage or from branches that could catch it in the event of a fall.
