Functional air hockey table for children
This air hockey table (also known as Air Hockey) is designed for younger and older children. Even adults can join in and compete with the little ones. Each match is played by 2 players standing opposite each other with a striker, using it to hit the puck and defend their goal.
The set is very solidly made and gives children plenty of fun. The puck floats above the surface thanks to a system of air blowers under the table.
The Air Hockey skill game
Players stand on opposite sides of the table. Each one gets a special plastic tool called a striker, used to move and hit the puck. This requires great precision and sharp reflexes, because the puck moves quite fast.
The goal of the game is to put the puck into the opponent's goal and defend your own half. A match ends when a player reaches a set number of points, most often 7 or 9. You can also play without a goal limit and set a maximum match time.
MDF board and air blowers
The game uses a specially prepared table. Its surface is covered with many holes through which air is blown. This creates a kind of air cushion, so the puck glides without touching the board.
The air hockey table is solidly built from 12 mm MDF board. The sides of the frame are reinforced with a plastic housing, on top of which a manual goal counter is placed. When you score, you conveniently take the puck out of a special channel on the other side. For extra stability, the legs are reinforced with crossbars.
Wood-coloured game set
The blower mechanism under the table is powered by 6 AA batteries, which are not included. The dimensions of the table with full contents are:
