Key features

The Index features our exclusive Diamond Level liner. Made from state-of-the-art memory foam materials, it ensures a secure, custom fit and a smoother forward flex.

The Vibram Approach outsole delivers best-in-class grip on hard snow and ice - perfect for climbing ridgelines, hiking or simply moving across a slippery parking lot.

The Index is built with fewer seams to keep water out. Transition Zone technology seamlessly connects the outsole to the Exo Spine, speeding up response and preventing damage to the rear of the boot when stepping in and out of the binding.

Closure

Dual-dial BOA® / internal heel lock. The lower part of the boot is tightened with a side dial, while the tongue dial controls the upper part and our unique internal heel lock.

• H4 BOA - Ready for anything, built to last. The blowout-resistant BOA® H4 Coiler is made for the most demanding riders and withstands impacts from park to powder. Its efficient mechanism quickly takes up lace slack for faster foot lockdown.
• Internal heel lock - Say goodbye to heel lift. An internal strap attached to the frame and tongue is tensioned through the outer BOA® side dial. Laces enter the boot from both sides and run through the tongue, wrapping the ankle firmly while pulling it back into the boot for incredibly stable hold in all directions.
• Vibram® Approach outsole - Our top-tier outsole features a full EVA midsole for maximum comfort across the whole foot and an OC-Kush insert for extra cushioning under the heel. The Vibram ICE-TREK tread is made from a rubber compound designed for cold and snowy surfaces and delivers unbeatable grip.
• Diamond Level liner - This premium liner features an innovative construction with the tongue on the outside for a smoother forward flex. Waterproof 3M Thinsulate insulation, an EVA pad, high-density memory foam and advanced thermoforming keep your feet dry and comfortable in the toughest conditions.
• 3D triple-density footbed - Our most advanced 3D footbed is designed to hug your foot perfectly. It is made from three densities of EVA: a firmer material supports the heel cup and arch, and a special high-grip layer sits at the heel. A wool-lined foot pad with a silicone top print provides warmth and security.
• Vibram - Based in Italy with over 80 years of experience, Vibram is the global leader in high-quality rubber outsoles.
• BOA® - The industry standard in quick-lace systems. Micro-adjustable for a precise fit and built to perform in the toughest conditions.
• ArmorTech - This durable TPU piece wraps the toe of the boot to protect it from abrasion and shield your toes when hiking. It also stops the boot from over-stretching, extending its lifespan.
• Exo-Spine - An external rear frame that supports the whole boot and instantly transfers energy from heel to toe. It connects smoothly to the outsole through our transition zone, so you won't dig into the lacing heel support when locking into bindings.
• Space Blanket - A thermo-insulating barrier between the outsole and the bottom of the liner keeps heat in and cold out.
• 3D molded tongue - Our asymmetric 3D Molded Tongue is curved more toward the medial side to match the natural ridgeline of the forefoot. This reduces pressure points and gives a more balanced feel of comfort and support compared to a standard straight tongue.
• 3D molded toe box - Our 3D toe box removes extra layers and seams around the forefoot, increasing water resistance and durability. The streamlined construction also makes it easier to step in and out of bindings.
• ASYM 3F - A unique asymmetric boot construction developed together with BOA® that creates optimal support and flexibility. The asymmetric tongue has lace guides positioned on the flatter areas of the forefoot for more even closure and less point pressure. Increased medial arch support reduces foot fatigue and cramping.
• OC-KUSH - Shock-absorbing dynamic gel pads embedded in the outsole around the heel area. This extra cushioning helps soften hard impacts and reduces fatigue from uneven snow. It also makes the boots extremely comfortable to walk in.
• Custom Calf - The Velcro straps at the back of the frame can be adjusted to fit larger calves or to increase stride length when touring on a splitboard.
• Storm Cover - A waterproof PU / mesh cover with a zipper. The Storm Cover protects your feet from moisture in deep snow and features a 3D engineered fabric for a perfect fit to the boot. Elastic material at the top makes it easier to close.
